TERMS AND CONDITIONS from 24th January 2005

REGISTRATION FEE
A £30+VAT non-refundable Registration fee is payable on registering with theChildcareSolution/ WorldNetUK hereafter referred to as the Agency and must be received before details of Au Pairs can be submitted to families. We are able to accept most major credit cards

PLACEMENT FEES:

SHORT - TERM (up to 12 weeks) : £125+VAT
LONG - TERM (over 3 months) : £350+VAT

The placement fee will become due as soon as a place has been offered by the Host Family and accepted by the Au Pair. Payment is due by return . On receipt of the placement fee the Agency will instruct the Au Pair to book her travel arrangements. Payments not received within 3 days of a Host Family accepting an Au Pair will result in the agency offering the Au pair to an alternative family.

CANCELLATION
If an Au Pair cancels after the initial acceptance, we will do our best to find a replacement as soon as possible, otherwise we will refund the placement fee (but not the Registration fee) or credit the full amount in respect of future placements, whichever you prefer. If the Host Family cancels after an Au Pair has accepted an offer, half the placement fee will be payable. In addtition the family will be responsible for any non-recoverable travel expenses incurres by the Au Pair.

UNSATISFACTORY PLACEMENTS
Should an Au Pair prove to be unsatisfactory within 28 days we will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement without further charge provided that: a) the Agency is informed in writing of the circumstances b) a satisfactory explanation is given for the Au Pair leaving c) conditions indicated on your registration form have been honoured

LIABILITY
Although the Agency strives to introduce only the most suitable Au Pairs, it cannot be held liable in any way for the person introduced or for any loss, damage or injury to property or persons, from any act or omission howsoever arising.

TERMINATION
Should the Host Family at any time wish to terminate the Au Pair arrangement they must give 2 weeks notice to the Au Pair . If they wish the Au Pair to leave the house before the end of the two weeks notice period the Host Family must pay for bed & breakfast accommodation for the Au Pair.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All names, addresses and other details supplied by the Agency are given in the strictest confidence and must not be passed on to any other person. Should any placement be made as a breach of this term, the Client will be liable for payment of the agency fee.
